Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q: What materials do you use?
A: Our ceramics are crafted using high-quality clays and glazes. We focus on sourcing sustainable and locally available materials whenever possible, to ensure every piece is not only beautiful but also environmentally friendly. - Q: How are your pieces made?
A: Each item is handcrafted in our studio. Each piece is shaped out of raw clay, dried, glazed and fired twice to high temperatures in our kiln, to create a durable and functional work of art. - Q: How should I care for my ceramic items?
A: To extend the life of your ceramics, hand-washing is always recommended. To prevent damage, avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden temperature changes. Using the dishwasher every once in a while is fine, but the quick temperature changes can cause stress to your pieces if they are exposed to them often.
You can use the microwave.
Specific care instructions are provided with each purchase. - Q: Are your ceramics food-safe?
A: Yes, we only use food-safe glazes. - Q: Where can I find your latest collections?
A: Our latest collections are showcased on our website’s gallery section and updated regularly on our Instagram account. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about new releases. - Q: How can you make sure your packaging is safe?
A: We always spend a lot of time packing each item, with all possible care. All our pieces are wrapped in sustainable packaging, such as honeycomb paper, silk tissue paper and packing peanuts you can dissolve in water. Then, every item goes into its little box. So it’s safe. - Q: I live locally and I wondered if I can pick my piece up instead of having it shipped?
A: Yes, you can! Just choose local pickup at checkout – this will void the shipping charge and allow you to pick your piece up in person. Please wait for an email with detailed instructions. Shipping details here.
